My name is Andrew. I am not a millionaire. I am not financially independent. I have not retired. But I am on a quest to improve myself.
Most people find “success”, then start a blog or write a book or start a podcast – “I’m successful now, and here is how I became successful.” I find it tough to relate to a lot of these stories – there is a feeling of separation. I want to do the opposite. I am
21 22 years old and am just starting my quest to financial freedom. I want to document the journey, not reflect on the outcome.
Quest for Billions is a resource to simplify and help other young people learn and take action with their finances. I write about topics that I am finding useful, and that I think other people could benefit from as well. The name, Quest for Billions, is a metaphor for self-improvement – with money and our life. By taking action to improve our finances, we can create billions of options for ourselves to have the freedom to be able to spend time on the things we really enjoy doing in life.
I am a curious person with a passion for learning. I enjoy travelling and exploring the world, non-fiction reading, listening to podcasts, attempting to write, thinking about entrepreneurship and starting my own business, exercising less than I should, playing and watching sports, cooking but even more so eating, and the odd run-on sentence.
I have made many mistakes already with my finances and I will make many more. But I learn from my mistakes. The important thing is I am taking action. You should too. Let’s start our Quest for Billions.
